This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment to and from warehouse to events for the purpose of flawless execution. This position requires strong driving and coordination skills.Essential Duties & Responsibilities* Maintain a clean driving record* Comply with all DOT requirements and procedures* Ensure timely pick up and delivery of all assigned work* Communicate with warehouse and event staff all transportation movements in accordance established policies and procedures* Complete all required paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures* Assist in training/development, and staffing of staff* Ensure sound safety and risk policies and procedures through assigned areas* Check drivers in and out of warehouse in accordance to operational policies and procedures* Provide recommendations on Capital Expenditure and planning* Drive teamwork and communication between all warehouse operations* Assists other department heads as needed.* Performs other duties as assignedEducation & Experience* High School diploma or equivalency.* Minimum 2 years of related experience* Valid Class A license in good standingCertificates, Licenses, Registrations* Valid Class A license in good standing* Must have or have the ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Certificate..Travel RequirementsTravel more than 75%Diversity CommitmentAt Freeman, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
