CDL A Transport Fuels Driver – Home Daily

Pay: $25 – $27 per hour

Schedule:

• Day and night shift positions open
• 10-12+ hour shifts depending on work load
• Full-time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently drives commercial vehicles during specified shifts on a 24/7 work week in all types of weather conditions
• Loads, unloads and moves fuels safely from terminal to customer or company locations in a timely manner
• Follows company policies and federal and state regulations
• Keeps a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries and other actions/events, following all company safety guidelines
• Maintains clean equipment, uniforms and cab space, ensuring any repairs are communicated promptly
• Completes accurate and timely documentation for delivery of product, volume of delivery, and inventory control management
• Appropriately uses internal systems, hand held devices, and other electronic equipment for work purposes
• Takes direction from dispatchers and/or managers, following delivery instructions and maintaining good working relationship
• Communicates with team members, management and customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Stays calm and level headed in stressful situations and refrains from emotional outbursts
• Adopts new methods, procedures and changes in a positive manner
• Offers suggestions to improve efficiencies and solutions to solve problems

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 21 years of age or older
• CDL A required
• Hazmat and tank endorsement (X) strongly preferred and required at time of hire
• 6-12 months of CDL A truck driving experience preferred
• 12 month clean driving record
• Mechanically inclined
• Good written skills with ability to use computers or handheld devices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Must be able to work weekends
