Se requerirá la verificación de la vacuna para ingresar a las instalaciones de Tyson.Job Details:Wage Type: HourlyDepartment: Shag DriverReports to: Distribution SupervisorShift: 2ndHours2nd shift: 4:30pm – end of productionSUMMARY:Responsible for operating industrial trucks or tractors to perform movement of trailers between loading, processing and storage areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITIES:* Operate lifting devices to load, unload, transport and stack material* Lifting devices: forklifts, pallet jacks* Perform movement of reefer trailers* Monitor trailers for proper temperatures and fuel levels* Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment* Cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries and fueling* Manually load or unload materials* Keep the area clean* Other duties assignedQUALIFICATIONS:* Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality* Ability to obtain pallet jacket & forklift certificate* Ability to learn to drive a shag truck* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment* Valid Drivers’ License* Ability to work independently and multi-task* Basic computer skills and Detail Oriented* Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment* Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures* Must be at least 18yrs of age* Authorized to work in the U.S.Education and/or Experience:* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* 6 months’ production experience preferred* Experience driving shag truck preferredCommunication Skills:* Ability to communicate effectively in the English language* Ability to read product labelsPhysical Requirements / Environment:* Stand/Walk: Frequently* Lift/Carry: Frequently (up to 50 lbs.)* Push/Pull: Frequently (5 to 15 lbs.)* Bend/stoop/squat: Occasional* Physical Environment: Continuously: Working around moving machinery, working in a damp, slippery and cold environment (Below 40° F)Relocation Assistance Eligible:NoWork Shift:2ND SHIFT (United States of America)Hourly Applicants ONLY -You must complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.Tyson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
