LAND SURVEYOR (FIELD TO FINISH)

Arizona Surveying and Mapping (ASAM) is a Phoenix surveying and mapping company serving Phoenix and surrounding areas since 1988.
We are seeking a full time Land Surveyor (Party Chief). The ideal candidate will be:
A self-starter with excellent communication skills (able to communicate effectively with clients and team members).
Experienced in performing field work on general surveying projects, including topographic, ALTA, boundary, as-built and flood elevation (FEMA) certificates.
Experienced in providing office support for the processing of field data.
Able to demonstrate excellent safety practices and behaviors on survey sites.
Able to work outdoors in both developed and natural environments and in ideal and adverse weather conditions.
Minimum Qualifications :
At least 2 years of Field Surveying experiences.
Understanding of ALTA requirements, Arizona boundary survey minimum standards and AutoCAD experience a plus, however not required.
Valid drivers’ license, be insurable and pass any drug screening and background check
Some out of town travel required.

Job Requirements:
- Performing boundary and topographic surveys
- Performing as a surveyor or survey technician in all facets of surveying
- Perform boundary/control surveying and mapping
- Assist in surveying land by performing the following duties
- Performing field work efforts for land surveying services of all types
- Prepare documentation of surveying activities
- Conduct research of public records in connection with land surveys
- Reporting to the level one surveyor when the quantities are at a level
- Perform office work in the area of land surveying
- Apply full competency in conventional land surveying work and broad knowledge of precedents inland surveying
