– Rock Hill, SC Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred 2-3 years of related experience Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training Ability to maintain student records Able to interact with employees, potential students and outside contacts of all levels, providing excellent customer service.
Ability to work independently and with a team as well as with various constituents Ability to handle a high pressure environment with significant timeline pressures Ability to provide brief assessments to develop an action plan with students and families Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Access, Excel, Powerpoint) required Excellent human relations skills Strong desire to fulfill job requirements and expectations; self motivated Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Outstanding references from current and former supervisors Satisfactory SLED (SC Law Enforcement Division) report Salary Range: $13.50

JOB DESCRIPTION STUDENT SERVICES COORDINATOR Purpose Statement: The job of Student Services Coordinator is done for the purpose/s of providing assistance to students, families, and district staff in areas of communication, documentation, coordinating wrap around services, and resource identification for academic, attendance, social, physical, emotional and adaptive problems associated with functions involving students in schools and the educational process.
This job reports to the Coordinator of Community Services.
Essential Functions Serves as liaison between school, home, and community agencies for the purpose of improving the quality of student outcomes and developing solutions.
Educates parents about educational problems being encountered by their child for the purpose of increasing the parents’ knowledge of and use of appropriate resources.
Coordinates wrap around services and student family systems of supports.
Works to remove social and non-academic barriers to student learning (ex.
homelessness).
Maintains student records for the purpose of providing accurate and up-to-date information to be used in targeting interventions for students and providing a clear document trail.
Participates in various meetings (e.g.
Intervention, staff, etc.) for the purpose of receiving and/or providing information.
Facilitates meetings and partnership activities with health and wellness providers, mental health services, nutrition, vision, dental, and others.
Initiates service referrals, family crisis response, and assistance.
Represents the school district for the purpose of communicating and coordinating between home, school and outside agencies in cases involving foster home children, disadvantaged student cases and other cases as assigned and/or appropriate.
Supports communication and documentation (e.g.
attendance, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining the educational process for students, providing a positive learning environment and adhering to Education Code, administrative and/or school policies.
