Step By Step Montessori Schools is seeking a part-time (morning only) Spanish Enrichment Program Teacher for our Chaska location.
Position Summary:
Our Spanish Enrichment Teachers support implementation of curriculum and strengthen our program by maintaining and enhancing a safe and nurturing classroom environment that supports each child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth and development.
- Offer Support: Help facilitate classroom activities.
- Get Creative: Assist in creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons using provided curriculum.
- Nurture: Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching.
- Have Fun: Sing, dance, marvel. Encourage and assist in positive social interactions.
- Care: Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times
Qualifications:
- Ability to lead a group music class, playing piano as accomaniment
- Prior experience teaching, caring for, or nannying young children
- Ability to move quickly from one position to another to assist children as needed and in compliance with safety standards.
