Position Details Position Information Job TitleMen’s Assistant Golf Coach (Contractual/Part-time)Reports To and Evaluated byAthletic DirectorRequired Qualifications Prior experience as a college or high school Golf player.
Possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and good driving record.
All coaches must be certified in CPR/AED and their certification must be on file in the Athletic Department.
Must be able to demonstrate the Morton College core values of compassion, fairness, respect, responsibility, tolerance and truth.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Two years of experience coaching golf at the college or high school level.
Ability and commitment to recruit, instruct, and motivate college student-athletes.
Positive role model for young adults.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, and leadership skills.
Job Summary Assist the Head Coach in planning, organizing and directing a program to recruit student-athletes to participate in Men’s Golf.
Help perform coaching and instruction.
Other duties include scouting, maintaining statistics and performing tasks required to insure a competitive intercollegiate Men’s Golf Program.

•Assist with instruction and teaching.
•Assist with team and individual statistics.
•Assist with maintenance of the equipment.
