Little Leaders of KCK is located on the campus of Kansas City Kansas Community College.
It is owned and operated by Christi Eaton and Kim Maples who are both former elementary teachers and reading specialists.
Together they have over 40 years of experience in education.
They are dedicated to providing uncompromising quality in the care and education of every little leader.Requirements: Lead TeacherThis position requires the ability to provide a stable and consistent environment with professionalism, a positive demeanor, and a passion for working with young children and their families.
The Lead Teacher needs to:Be able to work well within a team environment.Be able to manage small and large groups up to 21 children.Be an organized person who is able to plan and implement lessons based on children’s needs.Be able to set limits and provide a structured environment conducive to learning.Be able to incorporate music and play into learning.Provide age and developmentally appropriate activities.Be able to provide instruction in early literacy.Understand child development.Be versed in a variety of classroom managements techniques.Be willing to be trained on a specific curriculum or teaching strategy.Be willing to work with families to provide the best care and early education for their children.Be flexible when working with children.Be professional when working with staff, parents, and children.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00 to $17.00 /hour ($31,200 year $35,360/year)
