For the first time, we are opening in Long Island and looking for top lead trainers who are experienced, energetic, and coachable.

Two Years and three (3) gyms later, Burn Boot Camp began franchising in 2015.

Responsibilities: Lead and Train Camps -Lead and motivate groups of clients of all fitness levels through energizing, challenging, and safe pre-designed training camps.
Personal Training in a Group Setting -Engage groups of clients (20-30) in workouts while offering a personalized experience.
1:1 Fitness Consultations -Facilitate client success by holding 1:1s to provide guidance and accountability outside of camp.
Client + Social Media Communication
– Inspire, motivate, educate, champion, and promote via our social media platforms and customer emails (like all things we’ll be here for assistance on this like all things) Excellent Customer Service -Add more value to our members by providing genuine interaction, empathetic engagement, and consistent devotion to your goals and theirs.
Knowledge Expertise Development
– Possess the skills and ability to conduct and communicate safe and effective exercises for clients of all backgrounds and experience levels.
Community Outreach -Represent Burn Boot Camp in a professional manner at local community at events and expos.

Qualifications: Credentials -Certified Personal Training certification (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) OR a 4-year Exercise Science degree Experience -1+ year(s) experience in personal training or coaching.

–About Burn Boot Camp-
– What equipment is used during camps?
We creatively use a wide variety of freeweight and bodyweight equipment to deliver ever-changing workouts that leverage our bodyweights in energizing and challenging movements that are constantly changing.
Equipment includes: dumbbells, kettlebells, battling ropes, jump ropes, hurdles, parallettes, suspension straps, boxing bags, stability balls, BOSU ball, Terra Cores, med balls, resistance bands, sliders, and our pull-up rig.
Is it true that your workouts are lower impact?
Yes!
Our workouts take place on a floating floor so we can do more plyometric and quadruped exercises including burpees =).
Is it true that Burn Boot Camp started in a parking lot?
Also yes!
Although our amazing gyms help enhance our experience, the true experience is driven by the leading of energizing camps and supportive community together.
If you go down to Burn U you’ll be able to visit the original parking lot site!
Do you have a virtual component?
Yes!
Since covid-19 pandemic started HQ and local gyms have been live every weekday to give our members the burn boot camp experience wherever they are.
–About the Position
– What training is provided?
BurnU + Periodic Local Training.
Trainers will have the opportunity to go to the infamous “Burn U”, an intensive, hands-on five (5) day training on-site at Burn HQ or one of our regional hubs with our master trainers.
Additionally, periodic local training may either need to be required for compliance or something we can work out exploring together
– each and everyone one of our team members are top-of-class so we can provide the highest level of blue carpet service to our members each and every camp.
Will sales be involved?
Indirectly.
We will be spending money on marketing campaigns and promotions periodically throughout the year to bring new people to our camps; however, the trainers and all team members are involved in informing prospective members what Burn is about.
How is compensation structured?
For every candidate how we structure compensation is two-fold (1) base compensation and (2) input-driven performance metrics.
For the latter, the performance-driven metrics will be controllable and input-driven so that factors outside your control are not influencing compensation.
With that being stated, we want to pay you more not less.
Can I train people privately in this role?
Yes, we want our trainers to be the best professionals they can be and reach whatever goals set forth for themselves professionally.
Additionally, we recognize that some people prefer to train in private and it may be hard to find such high-quality trainers elsewhere.
