Position Summary
The Certified Flight Instructor promotes all facets of flight training in support of the Professional Flight Program at EKU including: ground instruction, instrument training, flight training, and simulator training in accordance with EKU and FAA regulations and procedures.
Prepare schedules, maintain accurate records and ensure that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met by each student in each flight course.

Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma is required.
FAA Certified Flight Instructor ( CFI ) license is required.
200+ hours of flight time is required.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
FAA Certified Flight Instructor – Instrument ( CFII ) license is preferred
FAA Multi-engine Instructor ( MEI ) license is preferred
