Special Education Instructional Assistant Needed for the 2020/21 School YearDependable Staffing is currently hiring qualified candidates to work as teacher assistants in classroom settings.
Qualified candidates must have current experience working with children in classroom or behavioral health settings.Positions will start on August 6th and August 17th and will be long term Monday Friday commitments through May 26, 2021.
Regular scheduled hours will depend on the school assigned and will be scheduled between 7am-4pm, 35 hours per week.Instructional Assistants will assist the teacher in implementing educational plans, behavior and IEP plans, will work with children in group settings and 1:1, will assist children in understanding and completing projects and classroom assignments, will be required to redirect and use CPI training in crisis situations.
Aides will be required to supervise children in classroom, on playground and during student lunch periods.
May be required to lift, toilet, dress and assist with feeding.Applications will be processed through July for 2020/21 SY placements.
Processed applicants must attend CPI and yearly district training in July.
Additional training information will be provided to qualified applicants during interview.All qualified applicants/ employees must have current CPR & First Aid training and a current fingerprint clearance card.Qualified candidates will be considered must include resume
