Julianna & Ryan
Hello Our family is seeking part-time childcare (2-3 days per week) for our 5-year-old son, Roman.
This job is potentially short-term.
He is set to start Kindergarten this fall, but will be beginning the first month of school virtually.
The job would be to care for him for 6-8 hours a day
– play with, feed, supervise, nurture
– while facilitating his participation in virtual class activities.
We are hoping the school will open as-planned starting in October, but of course Covid is an evolving situation.
Once school starts in-person, it will be 4/5 days a week, so at that point we are potentially looking for someone to care for Roman and supervise any virtual school activities on Mondays.
We also have a 2-year-old daughter, who will mostly be in daycare during the weekdays.
Although this particular job is more short-term, we are also seeking to develop a trusting relationship with someone who would be interested in babysitting for periods of time on weekends or weeknights.
We both work full-time and will often be working from home, but sometimes outside of the home.
Roman is a creative, strong-spirited, sensitive, sweet, funny, and fun-loving child who loves physical activity, cars, competition (everything is a race), bike-riding, hide-and-seek, and art-making.
We are seeking a person who is genuine, warm, empathic, energetic, playful, assertive, flexible, reliable, and generally “fits” with our family and our family’s ways of working.
Candidates must have experience caring for young children under 5 years old, and we prefer candidates who are studying early childhood education or mental health.
Please contact us if you are interested Resume and letter of interest requested.
Thank you Julianna & Ryan
