Gather content, write, edit and produce collateral materials, i.e., print and/or online newsletters, press releases, etc.
Serves as community relations contact and primary liaison to University-level Strategic Communications office.
Coordinate and connect Public Health experts to community and central Strategic Communications office.
Provides advice and counsel to departmental or program administration on all aspects of communications for events and presentations, including effective messaging and problem resolution that fits into the school’s mission.
Support Dean in all internal and external communication strategies (including speech writing).
Manage external public and media relations and oversee endeavors for events and programs.
Writes press releases, serves as the Program’s copywriter, and maintains news website pages.
Produces a variety of communication pieces in a variety of venues including written, visual, digital, and electronic communications.
Creates digital content strategy for web content management, (Twitter/Facebook/Instagram) digital signage, email, videos that positively affect rankings, student and faculty recruitment, graduates job placement, and fundraising/philanthropy.
Compensation Range: $29.26-$44.56 Required: Excellent grammar/writing, copy/editing, creative writing skills Preferred: Public Health background Final candidate subject to background check.
