We are currently looking for a reliable teacher wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of young children.

We are looking for all shifts!

We are open 6:30-6 M-F.

Paid holidays, off weekends, and more!

Job Description:

*In the absence of the lead teacher the assistant should be able to perform the duties normally performed by the lead teacher.

*Help train and oversee substitutes that work in the classroom.

*Execute and deliver the Tots’ Spot Academy curriculum, including daily lesson plans and schedules.

*Establish a positive rapport and maintain good, sound communication with the parents.

*Supervise all activities and to ensure the safety of each child at all times.

*Assist in maintaining an organized classroom arrangement.

*Maintain good working relations with co-workers.

*Participate in a reasonable number of after hour activities (examples: open houses, staff training, parent conferences, staff meetings, etc.)

*Report to the lead teacher and assistant director; to be evaluated by the director and/or assistant director.

Qualifications:

*Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

CDA, TECTA or higher education preferred.

*Previous experience in a child care setting is a plus.

*Ability to lift 40lbs and engage in physical activity for long periods of time.
