Assistant Professor – Speech-Language Pathology

Position Summary: The Department of Health and Human Performance is seeking qualified applicants for an Assistant Professor.
Primary duties include teaching, supervising, and advising graduate students in the Master of Speech-Language Pathology program.
The Department seeks candidates who are committed to student learning and excellence in clinical education.
The successful candidate will have evidence of scholarship within areas of expertise and value a diverse academic environment.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
– Earned Doctorate with emphasis in speech-language pathology or in related field with a concentration in the discipline of speech-language pathology.
– Candidates who are currently ABD will be considered if all degree requirements are completed by date of hire, August, 1, 2021 .
– Current ASHA membership and eligibility for TN state license is required.
– Candidate must demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and potential to develop an active research program.
– A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
