Temple Beth Amis looking to hire Elementary School and Early Childhood Teachers!We are looking for experienced and educated professionals who have a passion for teaching!The purpose of these positions is to plan, organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Plan and prepare lesson plans and instructional activities by identifying clear teaching objectives and learning outcomes, with appropriate challenge and high expectations Utilize a variety of learning materials and resources for use in the classroom Identify student instructional levels and differentiate instruction to address students at their readiness level using a variety of teaching strategies Use relevant technology to support instruction Encourage and monitor progress of all students Maintain accurate and complete records of students’ progress Manage student behavior by establishing clear protocols and an optimum learning environment in and out of the classroom Effectively communicate with parents and administration to maximize student growth Participate in on-site professional development, school meetings and extracurricular programs as required Create an effective environment for learning through functional and attractive displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers Ensure that school policies are reflected in daily practice Continue to grow professionally.

Keep updated with current pedagogy and implement changes to instruction as neededEducation and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution Professional Teacher Certification Transcripts indicating minimum 12 semester hours in-field Relevant teaching experience Knowledge of relevant technology Ability to embed Judaic studies into daily learning Excellent verbal and written skills Passion for teachingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:Ability to gracefully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.Demonstrated high degree of proficiency regarding spelling, punctuation, grammar, principles / techniques of school safety and first aid, pertinent laws and rules pertaining to school operations, and applicable records / reports / procedures.Proficient in various computer software applications, i.E.: Outlook, Word, and Excel.Strong organizational skills.Positive attitude and ability to deal tactfully and respectfully with administrators, clergy, parents, students, and the public.Demonstrate initiative, poise, and good judgment while working under pressure and with frequent interruptions.Maintain confidentiality.Obtain and impart information tactfully and accurately.Working Conditions and Physical Effort:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
