Sr Program Manager, GTM Sales Strategy

The AWS Training & Certification (T&C) team is looking for an experienced candidate to develop and implement customer-focused training and certification sales programs and tools to increase the number of AWS-trained and certified customers and individuals by improving and increasing the engagement of the AWS field teams with AWS Training and Certification.

In the T&C GTM Sales Engagement, Program, and Tools team, you will have the opportunity to define, shape, and implement sales programs and tools for AWS field teams to increase use of T&C offerings.

You will be responsible for collecting customer, field sales, and partner feedback on T&C offerings, and their respective needs.

You will transform insights into prioritized actionable programs, improvements to existing programs, and tools.

You will also be responsible for working with Business Planning teams to quantify the impact of sales programs and tools.

The ideal candidate has both a strategic business background, as well as a deep understanding of customer experience, sales, and marketing functions.

You should be intimately familiar with one or more IT customer segments and verticals (e.g.

enterprise, public sector, mid-market).

You should have demonstrable success working with field sales team to enable them and foster engagement with other teams.

You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges, and are able to build and convey compelling plans and frameworks.

You have the ability to balance multiple projects and work within a high-growth and constantly evolving environment.

You have a passion for solving complex business challenges and thrive on constantly improving the customer experience.

Preference for candidates who build and use tools such as surveys to assess the needs of your customers, both external and internal.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop, manage, and evangelize programs, mechanisms, and tools that enable AWS T&C to reach and successfully train and certify greater numbers of AWS professionals Create programs and tools that improve and increase engagement between the AWS customer-facing field teams and T&C Work with AWS leaders and AWS customer-facing field teams, including their input into programs and tools Engage with customers to further understand their unique T&C needs, working backwards from their needs to formulate actionable strategies Engage with T&C leadership on a regular basis to identify and prioritize strategic initiatives Manage the success of high-profile strategic projects, and provide data-driven recommendations Develop, manage, and collect data for a dashboards that monitors the performance of programs and tools across customers, partners, field sales, and other internal organizations within T&C Define, build, and manage sales tools and aidsBasic Qualifications 5 years of experience in sales programs and tools within the software / technology / training industry Sales or field enablement experience Demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple international stakeholders and cross functional teams, including sales account management, business development, product management, product marketing, program management, legal, as well as partner communities Excellent verbal and written communications skills, as well as the ability to work effectively across organizations, geographies, and cultures Bachelor’s degree Ability to travel 10-25% as needed Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
