Senior Field Service Representative (FSR)

The FSR must be knowledgeable in acquisition, logistics, training, and the fielded system. The FSR will provide continuity within the VMU squadron maintenance department enhancing the organic capability.The FSR will work in support of real-time missions to include planned and on-call quick reaction deployments at the need of the Marine Corps. This will sometimes include working extended periods in austere environments and field conditions.The Senior FSR must be knowledgeable in the flight characteristics of the RQ-21A equipment and possess unique capabilities or experience in the maintenance, repair, operations, and troubleshooting of aviation systems. The FSR must have strong interpersonal and communications skills and work with minimal supervision. To provide system operations training, maintenance repairs, mission documentation activities, developmental test equipment and software familiarization.The Senior FSR will be based in Cherry Point, North Carolina and will coordinate all future operations, logistical and associated travel costs in support of ..…squadron operations with the program manager. Additionally, the FSR will work laterally with the ManTech Site Lead to conduct general maintenance support of the entire RQ-21A system, to include but not limited to the GCS, SLS, SRS and AV. The FSR may be required to conduct coordination with agencies such as FST, NATEC, and other contracted support as specified by the customer. To include fielding of new enhancements, component repairs and modifications beyond the scope of the organic capability of the operational level maintainers and in coordination with project engineers.Basic Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Aeronautics, Engineering, Computer Science, Math or Physics 00is preferred.Considered a Subject Matter Expert (SME):Candidate could have 5+ years of Shadow (RQ-7B) or Blackjack (RQ-21) TUAS Instructor/Operator experience with no less than 2,500 hours of flight time. Capable of working independently, and as a team member to solve engineering problems within a fast paced and dynamic development environment.Previous DoD experience is required, to include:5+ years’ experience, MEU deployment experience, experience deploying system to austere environments (WTIs, Iraq/Afghan deployments, cold weather deployments)Experience with Aircraft avionics and test integration.Experience with Flight Deck Integration.Experience with Network Protocol (e.g., Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429).Experience with navigation, communication and sensor integration.Extensive troubleshooting is required, and this position is critical to performing, especially when outside of normal IETMS.Troubleshooting experience with external payloads (L Band, Split ACES, L band ROVER compatibility)Experience and capability integrating new payloads and systems with existing system capitalizing on existing relationships between individual and supporting agencies.Understanding operational support requirements, prior military maintenance officer experience preferred and understanding the flight operations, support, and maintenance lexicon.Security Clearance Requirements:Candidates must have an active Secret clearance; top secret clearance desired.US Citizenship requiredPhysical Requirements:This position could require prolonged standing, walking, issuance and recovery of tools and equipment and objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Some data entry and filling out of requisitions on both computer-based applications.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license. The applicant will be required to answer certain questions for export control purposes, and that information will be reviewed by compliance personnel to ensure compliance with federal law.
