The Job
Unchained Labs is building the next cool scientific tools company, and our Automated Workflow products fit directly into that mission.
We need a high-octane Sales Specialist to team up with the local Account Manager to sell our products and grow the business.
Our automated buffer exchange system enables dramatic gains in R&D productivity and innovation in drug development by removing tedious, manual steps in the buffer exchange process.
We need people to roll up their sleeves, sweat, think outside the box, collaborate with our customers and create something special with us.
Responsibilities
Sell our automated platform, Big Tuna, in the assigned geography
Work closely with the Biologics/ Gene Therapy sales specialists on opportunities
Develop an understanding of R&D pains and map to value of Unchained Labs solutions
Generate new sales leads and opportunities and create awareness for our products in the region
Conduct technical presentations, at times in collaboration with Field Application Scientists
Develop collaborative relationships with customers, including lab managers, directors, and key opinion leaders at customer accounts
Keep CRM system (Salesforce) up to date and qualify leads from Marketing
Navigate orders through the customer purchasing process and provide accurate sales forecasts
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
Maintain positive customer relations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field, graduate-level degree preferable
3-5 year’s sales experience in the life sciences industry with laboratory equipment or automation, experience with enterprise-level solution sales is highly desirable
Demonstrated track record of sales success and exceeding quota
Demonstrated track record of selling in complex purchasing environments with multiple decision makers
Extensive contacts in life sciences organizations in the assigned territory
Experience with Salesforce CRM
Travel up to 20% overnight when required
Open mindset and inherent intellectual curiosity
Preferred Location
– Maryland, Washington DC, North Carolina
