This is a Full Time, Salaried Role.

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative Counselor:
Support the facility’s philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
In collaboration with Executive Director, strive to achieve census goals and build lasting relationships with community
Maintain and update contacts of hospitals, doctors, community and family members
Arrange community events as needed to achieve public relation goals for the facility, the public, and community
Interview prospects to identify how our community may meet their needs
Provide tours for prospective residents and their families
Assist in creating quarterly publications of the facility’s news for the families and the general public
Arrange for local newspapers and healthcare periodicals to cover special events in the facility
Assist in the admissions process
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director
Work as weekend Supervisor as part of Department Head monthly rotation

Requirements:
Requirements of the Sales Representative Counselor:
B.A.

in Marketing or Business Management preferred
Must have demonstrated success in direct sales, preferably regarding Senior Living industry
Experience with Direct Marketing principles, preferably in senior health care industry
Previous experience in a Long Term health care facility highly desirable
Personable with and receptive to with residents, families, staff
Basic knowledge of JCAHO, IDPH and IDPA regulations preferred
Strong administrative, managerial, organizational, planning and interpersonal skills
Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
