Sales Account Representative SW

Green Wave Electronics

This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted October 16, 2021.

Job Purpose

The sales account representative is responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service to current customers. This role builds and supports a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and results-driven electronics recycling business for the Southwest territory.

Qualifications

  • At minimum, associate degree in or marketing/communications or related field sales experience in electronics and recycling.
  • Minimum two years of prior sales experience in business-to-business sales
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office programs along with ability to learn different software programs.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites during the day (10-15% travel)
  • Familiarity with IT/electronics equipment.
  • Must be able to adapt quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
  • Must possess strong customer service, sales and negotiating, decision making, time management, and troubleshooting skills while maintaining confidentiality where needed and when appropriate.
  • Must be comfortable with company culture and values including punctuality, good attendance, individual accountability, and encouraging/ reinforcing teamwork.
  • Must be detail-oriented, accurate, and self-driven/motivated and able to effectively communicate with fellow employees and management.
  • Must be a responsible person that is comfortable working, at times, independently and in a diverse work environment.
  • Must possess basic English language communication skills to ensure and promote work safety and efficiently.
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment screenings.

Wage Information

Base salary dependent on skills and experience. Plus, potential commission bonuses based on special projects, weight percentage and units sold.

  • Identify prospects, customers, internal referral sources to expand the customer base.
  • Networking with organizations
  • E-mail marketing
  • Cold-Calling
  • Researching companies
  • Travel to meet with potential customers and current customers in the southwest region (LA, AZ, TX, NV, New Mexico and other surrounding states)
  • Present proposals to potential customers
  • Create quotes and scopes of work
  • Attend trade shows and conferences
  • Establish and maintain a database for customers and prospects
