Growing Children’s Toy Manufacturer looking for experienced sales professional to join our sales team. Position offers a base salary, commission plus expenses.Description Of Job:*Primary Function: Responsible for coordinating, managing and focusing sales efforts for the company within a specific territory.*Experience: Previous consumer products sales and territory management experience preferred*Skills and Abilities: Self motivated with the ability to work independently, as well as perform within a team concept: Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to manage several projects at one time; Motivated by competition, challenges and economic incentives; Excellent communication and organizational skills; Must have good follow up and follow through skills; Creative problem solver; Must maintain strict attention to detail and must be result oriented; Excellent customer service skills; strong selling abilities; Must be dedicated to maintaining a strong work ethic.*Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used: Computer (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point) & General office equipment*Materials Used: Sales reports and general office materials*Position Reports To: National Sales Manager*Special Requirements: This position requires travel*Duties and responsibilities: (Position Requirements)• Work day starts at 8:00a.m., Monday thru Friday (occasionally, the position may require extended work hours or extra days to complete specific projects or to increase sales)• Maintain, manage and build rapport with existing customers and new customers in given territory• Maintain a high level of customer service to insure customer satisfaction• Identify, research and close sales with potential new customers• Prepares action plan in accordance with sales goals• Schedules and meets with buyers of existing accounts and potential new accounts, presents and sells company’s products and programs. Handles follow up from these meetings• Analyzes costing, pricing and profitability of customers in given territory• Develops and analyzes programs, plan-o-grams, promotional displays, and kits• Prepares spreadsheets and samples for presentations• Maintains company margin for all accounts in given territory• Tracks sales personal figures and goals• Schedules and makes travel plans for meetings and trade shows while adhering to the company’s budget• Maintains and manages customer profile data base for accounts in given territory• Assists in processing customer’s orders• Investigates order related issues and customer complaints• Assists in implementing and setting up programs with new customers• Assists in determining sales goals and strategy• Assists with preparation and attends trade shows• Observe changes, product ideas, trends, competitors pricing or any problems within the market place and report to National Sales Manager• Submit weekly sales reports to National Sales Manager; provide briefing on sales activity, opportunities, problems, suggestions, etc.• Must follow all policies and procedures set forth by the company• Assist in specific projects as neededThe above statement reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the principal functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:• Sales & Account Management: 1 year (Required)
