Phone Representative – Patient Scheduler I

Urology Practice

This is a Full-time position in Nashville, TN posted July 20, 2021.

We are looking for a candidate in a medical office setting to serve as our patients first point of contact and provide a concierge level of customer service.

Responsibilities may include data entry, calling insurance companies, answering multiple phone lines, scanning documents into our EHR, working the check in or check out desk.

If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the medical front office industry, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will help create a pleasant and memorable visit for our patients.

Pay depends on experience.Responsibilities Answering multiple telephone lines Sending EHR patient messages to clinical staff Creating new and existing patient appointments Manage online and phone appointment requests Inform patients about payment methods and verify their insurance information Register patients collecting necessary information (like contact details and insurance information) Welcome patients upon their arrival Provide information about our practice policies Respond to patient requests in a timely and professional manner Maintain updated records of patient FMLA requests Sort interoffice paperwork, including incoming faxes Schedule follow up appointments at check out desk Check patients in when they arrive for their appointment Allscripts Experience is a plus Skills Work experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role Understanding of how Microsoft Office Works Customer service and professional attitude needed Excellent communication and organizational skills High School Diploma/GED required Must use proper phone etiquette and have experience answering multiple phone lines Must have one years experience in medical front desk setting Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00
