Job Description ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Works cooperatively with the branch’s Account Manager to service accounts.
Job site penetration should represent the bulk of outside call activity.
Supports Strategic Accounts by servicing and calling upon local strategic account job sites.
Conducts and documents safety site visits when appropriate.
Directs telephone contact with existing and prospective customers.
By utilizing all resources at hand, produces weekly qualified leads for the branch’s Account Manager to call on.
Works cooperatively with Market Manager, Business Manager and Sales Representative to develop and implement strategy to increase trades diversification.
Works cooperatively with branch operations staff to service the customer base properly.
This includes active and positive communication to alert branch staff as to customer needs so they are able to plan for recruitment activities and understand the exact needs of the customer.
Plans and accomplishes goals by utilizing experience and judgment; dividing the sales territory into zones and scheduling appointments and site visits in the most time efficient manner; rotate through the zones in a timely manner; understanding all corporate strategic and sales initiatives and applying that understanding to territory development; adhering to pricing and policies.
Learns and utilizes the CSP sales process as trained by the company, responds positively to the coaching of Sales Management, submits required reports and plans in a complete and timely manner, participates in company initiatives, sales meetings and events as directed.
Maintains contacts with local Trade Organizations and attends monthly/quarterly meetings to find and attract customer prospects.
Responsible for visiting outside centers of recruitment and providing information about PeopleReady and its opportunities.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS 2 years outside, business-to-business sales experience.
Knowledge of staffing industry preferred.
Knowledge of construction industry preferred.
Prior experience with phone sales, appointment setting and face-to-face cold calling.
Understanding of basic consultative sales process.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and ability to persuade an audience.
Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with a diverse employee population.
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
Valid driver’s license and a car that can be used for work.
