Patient Service Representative

Pride Health is hiring a Patient Service Representative to support our client’s hospital in Paoli, PA.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift

Responsibilities

• Responsible for greeting patents and families, collecting  & entering demographic and insurance information while assuring an efficient check in process and telephone encounters
• Enter essential patient information into the hospital registration and scheduling system.
• Collect and process payments received, schedule follow up appointments, & enter diagnosis codes according to pre-established practice guidelines.
• Maintain patient records and provider schedules while following HIPAA guidelines

Education:  

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service background required.
• Previous healthcare, registration, physician billing, medical records and/or medical office experience preferred.
