Motorcars of Georgia is currently seeking a full-time parts counter salesperson to join our growing exotic car parts department.
The desired candidate will have related work experience, excellent communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced professional environment.Duties & Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.Pulls and fills orders from stock.Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.Pulls orders for delivery to body shop, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.Follows up on back-ordered parts.Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.Replenishes assigned inventory daily.Makes sure all requests for parts are billed on service repair order.Issues credit for parts returned, ensuring that the original invoice, or its number, is available so that purchase and pricing can be verified.Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates, and special order parts.Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.Participates in all training programs that are made available.Keeps current on new products and product updates.Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.Maintains professional appearance.Oversee and/or process the receipt of shipments from manufacturersOversee and/or process outbound shipmentsUtilizing the most cost effective logisticsOrganize and maintain inventory and storage areaFacilitate perpetual BIN counts dailyPhase in new inventory according to department layout dailyKeep department cleanRemove trash daily, sweep, vacuum, dust, etcEnsure shipments and inventory transaction’s accuracyReport any discrepancies and/or damages to department manager immediatelyMaintain records of shipment in accordance with manufacturer and/or department manager standardsAny other duties as assigned by general or department manager.RequirementsTwo years experience requiredReynolds & Reynolds experience requiredProven parts counter sales experienceKnowledge of parts software and computer proficiencyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsStrong time management skillsMaintain a valid GA driver’s licenseJob Type: Full-timeExperience:Parts department: 2 years (Required)Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Location:Atlanta, GA 30350 (Required)License:Valid Georgia Driver’s license (Required)
