We Olive & Wine Bar located in the Heights is looking for foodies with a unique skill set, a willingness to learn and ambition to develop with a fast growing company in the culinary/wine field.

We are looking for qualified candidates to join our store in this unique opportunity to support our increasing sales and growth in the Texas market.

We Olive & Wine Bar is a gourmet food store and wine bar specializing in extra virgin olive oils, balsamic vinegars, giftware, domestic wines, local craft beers, and on olive oil inspired small plates menu.

(2) Part Time Food and Wine Sales Associate (Retail/Wine Bar Team Member)
– $10-$12/hour Tips 20Hours/Week Typically a 3 or 4-day work week, during weekends, evenings, and some occasional day shifts Responsible for supporting Shift Lead objectives by delivering excellent customer service, enthusiastically greeting guests, selling retail products, serving food and wine, maintain proper cash handling procedures, and following all cleanliness guidelines Opportunities to earn more if cross trained in Kitchen Helper position Qualifications: TABC and City of Houston food handler certifications (or ability to obtain these certifications within 30 days of hire) Previous experience in hospitality and/or retail industries Must be 18 years or older Must have a positive, outgoing attitude AND be able to talk about food and wine Benefits: Employee benefits available after 30 days of employment and 30 hours/week worked: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K plan, Employee and Family/Friends Discounts available on all food, wine, and retail products, Cash advances available (via Homebase scheduling app), Opportunities for advancement plans to expand concept throughout the Houston market, No late nights or early mornings store opens by 11am and closes no later than 9pm and 10pm on the weekends closers typically leave 15 minutes after doors are locked, Slower pace, high quality guest experience vs.
