Job Description

Are you looking for a career that allows you to be connected to your community while providing a valuable service?We are looking for outgoing individuals that have experience working with home owners and small businesses. **

Income potential of $50,000 – $75,000 first year. We coach outside sales representatives to a successful career in the security and home automation industry! This position is based in the Raleigh, NC area.

Outside Sales Representative Primary Responsibilities:

  • Produce leads and proposals for new sales by working a local territory
  • Produce proposals for new sales from company provided leads
  • Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up
  • Design systems to meet client’s needs largely through in-home consultations
  • Develop territory and build referral network to develop into new sales
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure that all documentation is communicated properly and to customer’s needs
  • Effectively use CRM system and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and key sales metrics

Outside Sales Representative Requirements:

  • A team-player who has a desire to improve and progress in the position
  • A person who can demonstrates resiliency and can bounce back from rejection quickly
  • An outgoing personality that can quickly develop relationships and is comfortable closing a sale at the customer’s kitchen table
  • Has experience in establishing a territory by working events (evenings and weekends) while becoming a trusted source to the community
  • High level of comfort in using computer systems within a sales environment (Microsoft Outlook, Excel required), previous experience with CRM systems is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent, continued education a plus
  • Valid drivers license with reliable transportation required
