The Parts Outside Sales person performs a variety of customer service, in store, marketing, promoting, advertising and stocking duties related to the receiving, sale and delivery of parts and accessories that contribute to the efficient, safe, and profitable operation of the dealerships parts department. Ongoing responsibility for assisting with the counter parts sales and customer service responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Visits assigned customers
• Prospects for new customers
• Follows up on parts orders to ensure that customers have been served properly
• Attends training seminars as required
• Acts as a public relations liaison for the dealership
• Maintains professional appearance
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service and communications skills (both written and verbal)
• A positive attitude and great personal drive
• Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
• Qualified candidates will possess excellent attention to detail

Background Knowledge & Competencies:

• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Valid state driver’s license is required
• Must maintain a clean driving record
