Areas of Responsibility: Respond to a variety of calls from ASA members and customers who use ASA programs in a call center environment.
Complete requested transactions such as providing requested information, and/or routing calls to the appropriate staff member.
Process the following transactions: referrals (telephone, e-mail, and letters); education course registrations; book and publication sales; updates to member records; invoice payments and refunds; conference registrations; and general inquiries about membership, education, and ASA.
Place membership courtesy calls as requested by leadership.
Assemble materials to support membership and publication fulfillment requirements.
Provide knowledgeable management of general membership services for the society.
Work with all classes and types of members to ensure that their needs are anticipated and met.
Process membership applications across all disciplines.
Research, report, and expedite the resolution of any problems or exceptions involving ASA membership.
Provide feedback and suggestions to improve services, correct problems, or pursue opportunities as they relate to the societys overall membership goals.
Update membership records in membership database as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
