Key Account Manager-Industrial

This is a Contract position in Wichita, KS posted July 26, 2021.

Position Summary: Responsible for the management and successful growth of existing Key Accounts and the development of new relationships and new business with OEM and Tier 1 Suppliers in a variety of industries including telecom, computer, medical device, and others.

Will be the primary interface between the internal and external (client) product design and engineering team.

Responsibilities:
· Develop relationships with key contacts including senior level individuals, identify and target new business opportunities
· Prepare and present sales proposals
· Meet or exceed established market share and sales revenue performance targets with Key Account customers and new business opportunities
· Develop and implement an annual strategic business plan
· Prepare and submit Monthly Overview summaries regarding significant field activities Qualifications
· 2-5 years Sales experience selling to OEM and Tier 1 Suppliers
· Experience selling technical/engineered products
· Must have direct manufacturing sales experience
· Engineering degree is preferred but not required
· Previous experience with managing a long sales cycle
· Possess a “Hunter” mentality along with ability to nurture existing accounts
· Good sales, communication, presentation and listening skills
· Able to sell and develop relationships in a virtual selling environment Position offers a competitive base salary, commission, and bonus.
