The idealcandidate will be experienced in outbound sales and customer management, and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision.

This person must be well organized and enjoy both the challenge to grow sales, as well as build, groom and manage a personal relationship with buyers over the phone, supported by e-mail and other communication .The ability to interact directly with the company’s vendors in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role.

Strong personal interaction and verbal communication skills are equally important.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Vendor and Agency Knowledge*Be familiar with all products, programs, procedures, terms and conditions for all assignedvendors*Attend training events for assigned vendors, training events for sales skills and agencymatters, as requiredRetailer Sales and ServiceSell products from assigned vendors to retailers within assigned accounts/territories,following vendor and agency guidelines, parameters, terms and conditionsProcess all orders using prescribed methods and/or technology in a timely mannerProvide vendor specific customer service, problem solving, and support, as requiredProvide general business professional knowledge and guidance, as requiredCover agency open territories for assigned region, taking ownership of the retailerrelationship and goals for the assignmentAccount/Territory Development and ProspectingConduct effective follow-up with all provided sales leads for prospective retailers, mutuallyidentified and assigned by agency managementProactively research, identify and pursue prospective new accounts to develop and growwithin assigned territoriesProvide feedback on leads and prospects, as requiredCommunication, Administration, Analytics, FeedbackConduct all communication, administration and analytics required to effectively manage theassigned accounts/territoryUtilzie Salesforce CRM to manage daily account activity and call cycle pipeline and account nurturingReport on assigned accounts/territories via regular calls or meetings with supervisorBe knowledgeable and responsive to performance measurement metrics(i.E.

Booked Sales; Monthly Sales Goals; Number of Orders; etc.)Show / ShowroomIntegrate trade shows in overall relationship, sales and service strategy for assignedaccounts/territoryMake appointments, travel to and attend specified trade shows utilizing Ivystone agencyshowroom or trade show booths, and Ivystone vendor corporate showrooms or booths, asrequiredProvide sales and service to retailers attending from within assigned territory; assistother retailers as neededMinimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Professional tele-sales experience preferred Gift, Fashion and Home industry experience preferredKey job characteristics include the following: Sales skills Customer service skills Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeUtlization of a CRM preferred but not necesary Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) Organizational skills Cold Calling skills Account management skillsAdditionally, the incumbent must demonstrate the following Ability to work effectively and interface with both internal and external customers/vendors Ability to work independently with little or no supervision Organization and territory management skills A sense of urgency in sales matters Build and maintain business relationships Attention to detail Communication skills; both written and verbalPhysical Demands & Working Conditions: The work environment for this role blends home office with occasional show/showroom environment with fast paced selling throughout the year.The physical demands include the following: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Ability to type and operate a computer for multiple hours per dayAbility to be on the phone for multiple hours per day Ability to travel by air to various Ivystone shows and/or showroomsLocation: This is a home office/work from home position candidate can be located anywhere in the domestic US.

If you are located near one of our offices/showrooms, there is flexibility to office from one of those locations if desired.Compensation: Salary plus bonus based on meeting sales expectations.Starting salary ranges based upon experience and expertise.
