Acelis Connected Health is part of Abbott’s Diagnostics family of businesses, bringing together exceptional teams of experts and industry leading technologies.  In this role, you will be responsible for developing existing accounts to achieve and/or exceed defined New Prescription goals and the overall business growth of Acelis Connected Health sales and service within a defined geographic area.  You are also responsible for creating relationships, detailing clinical significance, presenting and enhancing services available to facilities or physicians over the phone or face to face.  This role is responsible for selling in the International Normalized Ratio (INR) market, which includes physician offices and clinics. Position based in our Orlando, FL office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Builds a foundation for growth by introducing and implementing ACH tools and services, develops client communications/enrollment plans, and sets clear expectations for ongoing support.
  • Makes outbound calls and handles inbound inquires for prospects and clients via telephone and email to generate relationships and raise awareness of Acelis Connected Health services.
  • Visits face to face with existing customers to assist with enrollment plan implementations, as well as expand working relationships with other key staff within the facility.
  • Build rapport with clients, assesses needs, emphasizes clinical importance of home monitoring, and begins a working business relationship by obtaining referral(s) of patients for Acelis Connected Health services.
  • Uses sales and negotiating experience to overcome barriers to adoption of prospective customers resulting in remote monitoring program development and expansion.
  • Educates clients on the process of obtaining complete documentation to appropriately prescribe patients for Acelis Connected Health services.
  • Educates clients on the ongoing management of active patients including clinic and patient test reporting options, compliance process, and patient education materials.
  • Handles outbound and inbound client correspondence to existing facilities or physicians, via telephone and email, while maintaining relationships, providing superior service, and supplying continuing information and support regarding Acelis Connected Health offerings.
  • Provides routine updates to clients regarding status of new and existing patients on service with Acelis Connected Health; obtains additional information as needed.
  • Builds relationships with clients, assesses needs, emphasizes clinical importance of home monitoring, and continues development of a working business relationship by obtaining referral(s) of patients for Acelis Connected Health services.
  • Initiates compelling clinical, evidence-based, and business-based sales telephone conversations with all customer call points regarding Acelis Connected Health service offerings.
  • Identifies client needs and potential support programs that are applicable to their unique circumstances through a consultative selling approach.
  • Maintains contact based on an established communication plan with facilities to ensure that service-level commitments are being met.  Escalates service issues internally as appropriate. 
  • Provides patient educational resources and promotes patient awareness programs.
  • Maintains subject matter expertise in Acelis Connected Health services, clinical support materials and uses resources effectively.
  • Demonstrates consistency, proficiency, and accuracy in daily use of Acelis Connected Health operating systems directly related to specific job function.
  • Actively engages in entering, reporting, and reviewing relevant information in Salesforce.com database for ongoing customer retention and growth and the referral of new customers.
  • Participates in development opportunities and on-going training.
  • Maintains courteous and respectful working relationship with all sales and service partners and all teammates throughout Acelis Connected Health.
  • Follow all regulatory policies and procedures, privacy and security standards in accordance with all regulatory and Government agencies to include HIPAA requirements.  
  • Strictly adheres to Acelis Connected Health Standards of Conduct.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS | EDUCATION:

  • Associate degree or equivalent with a minimum of three years relevant work experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Applicable experience with Acelis Connected Health or Abbott.
  • Ability to make decisions while following company procedures and governmental guidelines.
  • Ability to utilize available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
  • Communicate both in writing & verbally in a clear, professional, and concise manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to use critical thinking and reasoning skills to solve problems.
  • Attend job related courses & seminars as required.
  • Ability to use equipment that is relevant to job functions and requirements.
  • Ability to travel as required to perform job functions.
  • Ability to sit and speak for long periods working on computer and/or using phone.
  • Organize activities or projects and meet set deadlines.
  • Ability to lift 15-20 pounds.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with traveling, position requires 10% travel.
  • Experience with mainstream office software including MS Windows, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com.
