We are looking for 2 Inside Sales in our location in Kansas City, MO or Parsons, KS.Here are some details about this position:POSITION SUMMARYAccount Manager Position responsibilities include regular communication with Sales, Representatives and Customers to create proposals, review plans and specifications, generating quotations and process all other customer requests.

This is a customer advocate position that bridges our sales team and the customer’s needsRESPONSIBILITIESReview customer RFQ’s, plans and/or specifications to generate quote proposalsReview estimates and prepare final sales proposalsAssist Sales in acquiring and processing customers’ inquiriesProcess sales orders and coordinate with other departments for proper product deliveryMaintain quoting/product databases as well as Salesforce.com opportunitiesGenerate internal requests for engineering, design and estimating based on customer requirementsInteract with various departments as needed to support sales and complete tasksGenerate various conceptual drawings, sketches, and specifications as needed for quote proposalsAt times, perform as the account lead where no salesperson is assigned, or the customers segment warrants direct serviceRegular follow up with customers and reps to build relationships and ensure proposals, deliverables and other communications meet our customer’s needsSolicit and develop customer relationships and with existing and new accounts as directed by the Director, Account ManagementSupport company’s network of independent sales representatives as neededService customer requests to price repairs, replacements, or begin the process of warranty workAttend various market specific trade shows; interact with customers; build relationshipsOther responsibilities as assigned by the Senior Account Management.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functionsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEFour-year college degree in an engineering, industrial distribution, business administration or related field is desirable.5 years of quoting/estimating in industrial manufacturing environment is desirable but not requiredGeneral understanding of Industrial Sales ProcessExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to read and understand technical/construction plans and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsGeneral knowledge of construction procedures and processes desirable but not requiredLANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and understand technical/construction plans and specificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMATHEMATICAL SKILLSMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole, fractional and decimal numbers.REASONING ABILITYApply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessionsCOMPUTER SKILLSAdvanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.Working knowledge of Salesforce.com and AutoCAD desirable but not required.PHYSICAL DEMANDSWalk, must be able to move about inside the manufacturing and office and occasionally on a construction site or outside of the manufacturing facility.Use hands/fingers to feel, must be able to operate computers, machinery, dimensional equipment.Sit and stand, must be able to work at a stationary desk that may require sitting or standing.
