Independent Business Development Representative

Direct Allergy,LLC

This is a Full-time position in Thornton, IL posted December 4, 2021.

Job Description: The Representative of Business Development for Direct Allergy is responsible for meeting or exceeding the physician referrals, appointments, and growth objectives for Direct Allergy at a single site or on a regional basis. This position is responsible for developing leads and is focused on growth of Direct Allergy revenue, and partnering opportunities. The position provides support, training and technical assistance to account executives.
Essential Activities & Tasks
Marketing and Referral Management

  • Identifies potential referral sources and new target markets. This includes contacts at Hospitals, PCP facilities, Internal medicine, Pediatrics, and others.
  • Develops strategies to work with potential clients and target markets to incur sales.
  • Focuses on developing and continually maintaining a productive relationship with key referral sources, partners and contacts.
  • Continually analyzes accounts determining the changing growth potential.
  • Works toward supportive relationships among account representatives, management and office staff to foster team-building and the generation of referral sources.

Sales

  • Aids in opening new accounts. Makes initial contacts and once developed, passes to account executives or Operation staff
  • Accompanies Direct Allergy staff on selected sales calls.
  • Assists Direct Allergy in meeting and exceeding their goals

Referral Management, Administration and Reporting

  • Ensures utilizing the marketing information, entering appointments and contacts on calender. (This allows management to track the marketing plan to actual activity.)
  • Ensures management receives necessary documentation for intake referral processes.
  • Provides monthly reports for referral tracking and sales to the Corporate office

Qualifications Required
Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a medical sales/marketing capacity.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Minimum five years medical marketing or sales experience, experience in health care is preferred.
  • Experience in Excel, Word, Power Point and contact management database.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
