We’re a passionate team of down-to-earth achievers, committed to getting our customers, colleagues and communities further, faster.Position Title: Sales Associate (Full and Part time) (Nights and Weekend Shifts needed)Location: 6185 Broadway, Denver COKey Responsibilities:Provides top quality customer service at all timesPerforms daily store cleaning and maintains a safe work environmentPrepares food and drinks, cleans, stocks and maintains food prep area in compliance with health codes (based on location)Secure all funds in safe and register.

Makes timely drops and maintains cash drawer at or below maximum level.

Notifies the Store Manager of any sales, cash or operating discrepancies.

Utilize the cash register to record all sales and provide customer with receipts.Conducts Loss Prevention Observations (Drive Offs, theft) Loss Investigations and Near Loss InvestigationsAssists Store Manager in maintaining a store inspection grade of at least 80% on the store inspection reportUtilizes plus-selling techniques as directed by the Store ManagerAdheres to daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked and organized.

Maintains inventory in coolers, drink boxes, store shelves and display units are kept ” Fronted” at alltimesProperly cleans and maintains equipment and ready high-margin products such as coffee, fountain drinks, etc.

Checks refrigeration equipment for proper performance a minimum of one time per shiftMaintains a clean floor and restroom area at all times.

Cleans windows, floors, shelving, counters, car wash (if applicable) and parking lot and gas pumps, sustaining the level of cleanliness as outlined.

Removes snow from side walkAssures proper sale and accounting for lottery, beer/liquor, UPS and license when applicablePrepares shift-change report at the completion of shifts by closing and balancing out the cash register in accordance with Parkland USA’s policies and proceduresFollows all Parkland USA, vendor and merchandising policies and established proceduresAccurately posts markups/downs, store use of merchandise, voids and and bad merchandise write off within the established guidelinesAttends monthly safety and security meetings and sign the attendance sheet.

Report all safety and security issues.

Reports and process all employee and/or customer incidents or unsafe acts in accordance with Parkland USA’s policy and procedureEmployee is expected to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Employee is responsible for planning and carrying out assignments, resolving conflicts that arise, informing and coordinating with others as expected.

Employee is accountable for insuring the technical accuracy of their work and maintaining good working relations, both internal and external to Parkland USA.
