This is a Contract position in Red Bay, AL posted February 2, 2022.

Blue Bird Corporation has been designing, building, selling, and servicing the world’s finest school bus since 1927.

We have grown to become a billion-dollar bus manufacturer headquartered in Macon, GA with manufacturing facilities located just 30 minutes south in Fort Valley, GA.

JOB SUMMARY:The Direct Sales Analyst is responsible for providing sales quotes, and other sales related information to Blue Bird’s Sales and Marketing organization.

Additionally, the Direct Sales Analyst manages daily sales reports, maintains customer sales records, prepares invoices and purchase requisitions, and performs other ad hoc assignments as needed.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Using Sales Center, create custom sales quotes for Blue Bird’s school and activity busesHandle all record keeping for the Direct Sales team including preparing purchasing requisitions and warranty informationImplement process improvement enhancementsDevelop and maintain healthy, professional and productive relationships within Blue BirdCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary; regularly communicate with management and the Direct Sales team in regards to all accounts and general businessManage diverse assignments while simultaneously working within a deadline driven environmentPossess the ability to work flexible hours often in excess of 40 hours/weekKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Previous sales, account management and/or relevant marketing experienceAbility to learn new systems and processesExcellent oral and written communication skillsCapable of managing confidential and proprietary informationStrong critical thinking and analysis skills; able to think outside of the box and identify innovative approaches to business challengesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookStrong time management, organizational and record keeping skillsDesire to build a long-term career at Blue BirdEDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:Bachelor’s Degree preferred3 years of relevant experience requiredSalesforce experience a plusWORK CONDITIONS:(The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
