Job Description**For the right candidate, this position could be worked remotely from any location in the USThe Model Based Control & Optimization Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales of Rockwell Automations Pavilion8 Software solutions, as well as Rockwell Automation’s other portfolio products & solutions within his/her assigned Vertical Industry and district.

The Model Based Control & Optimization Sales Executive is responsible for the development and execution of sales strategy and activities associated with targeted Software sales campaigns.

Daily activities will include collaboration with the District sales management team as well as utilizing the District resources (technical experts, sales engineers etc) to execute both the District and Rockwell Automation solution sales plans.Principle Duties and ResponsibilitiesAchieve Solution Sales Quota Targets.

It is understood that a given time is required to build up the pipelineProduce MPC revenue for Software, Services, and Maintenance.Monitor & report orders/revenue and pipeline results weekly via CRM tool to ensure performance goals are met.Responsible for closing deals while leveraging and coordinate the district sales resources involved in executing identified sales based campaigns;Drive value sales process throughout the district sales campaignsCoordinate internal resources (professional services, project management, executives etc.)Prepare and develop customer proposalsAssist in the development of project scope and ROI analysisLead Generation and follow-upAccurate forecasting and pipeline managementLeverage District sales resources for target opportunity identification and accessDevelop & Manage Mutually Beneficial Relationship with Assigned District:Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales team members and RA software to ensure efficient and effective communications and information flow from sales and pipeline development activitiesProvide formal monthly status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary informationResponsible for providing feedback to regional and commercial marketing and the business unit on existing and future commercial programs and sales toolsLeadership:Ensures thorough familiarity with policies and procedures relating to standards of business conduct and trains and motivates subordinates in the importance of full compliance with the letter and spirit of such policies and procedures.Conducts tasks in accordance with the applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state/federal laws) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and (state/federal laws) as well as Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.Competencies & SkillsValue based selling skillsStrong leadership skillsTeam PlayerUnderstanding of complete products/solutions offering and able to position an high level technical dialogStrong business acumenStrong communicator both written and oralFluent in English.

Good skills in Spanish and French language are nice to haveConsensus builderUnderstands sales processStrategic thinkingProven influence SkillsBroad industry knowledgeRelationship buildingUnderstanding of competitors and general product offeringExperience in successfully selling similar advanced process control solutions with track record of success that can be demonstratedBasic Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Engineering, other related technical fieldLegal authorization to work in the US is required.
