The Portfolio Sales Representative is the point of sale C.H.

On Your Next Adventure, You Will:Drive Service Delivery & Business Development:Generate new business by actively pursuing active accounts by identifying new contacts, product, and service opportunities within portfolioActively generates demand by frequently contacting the customer using medias including email, phone and in-person to build rapport, understand the customer’s needs, and execute on businessGenerate revenue to meet or exceed monthly net revenue goals and expectationsIdentify opportunities for growth within the accounts to convert transactional accounts to committed accountsUnderstand market conditions and competitive landscape to provide efficient and effective modes of transportation solutions for the customerEnsure quality execution against expectations, identify issues and implement solutions in a timely manner by applying the appropriate sense of urgencyUnderstand and manage pricing strategies through a clear understanding of customer buying habits and C.H.

Robinson’s position within the customer’s supply chainExecute upon customer facing operational activities including quoting, load building, shipment activation, and order level service escalations Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:Use effective negotiation and sales strategies in discussing pricing and selling services with the customerEstablish contacts and builds relationships at multiple levels, in multiple departments within accountsManage conflict and navigates difficult conversations with the customer using tact and diplomacyConduct monthly account level reviews of margins and volume to gauge profitability of accountsRespond to customer inquiries and provide updates related to exception management to articulate actions being takenMaximize customer experience by taking a pro-active approach to quality control leveraging internal stand-up meetings and customized external KPI alignmentCollaborate and actively communicate with partners on the capacity/product/supply team regarding customer needs, issues and solutions in order to meet customer expectations Deliver Process Efficiency:Account Onboarding to C.H.

Robinson PlatformLeverage customer facing technology to ensure the right technology is matched to customer needsOrganize and prioritize opportunities utilizing sales management toolsAssist in the development of any SOPs required to manage the customers’ business effectivelyMaintain a minimum portfolio size of existing customers by volume and revenueOther duties or responsibilities, as assigned, according to the team and/or country specific requirements You’re a Great Fit If You:Have a High School Diploma or GEDAbility to travel up to 10% Even Better If You:Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum of 1 year of previous sales experienceAre technically proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programsDemonstrated negotiation and sales strategies experienceDecision making and multi-tasking skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsValue a diverse and inclusive work environmentFluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) Let’s Talk Money…… and how you can make more of it.
