The Sales Development Representative for The AIME Center will ensure it fulfills its purpose of advancing the specialty of anesthesiology as a revenue generator for the ABA.
When the center is not being used to assess anesthesiology candidates for board certification, it will serve others whose work and missions require use of a technologically advanced, globally secure space to conduct performance-based interviews, evaluations, assessments, and more.
The Sales Development Representative will tap The AIME Centers potential by conducting research and analysis leading to new markets, partnerships, and potentially, new products and services.
The representative must balance development strategy with sales activity, working at either end of the sales continuum to generate qualified leads, manage prospective licensees through the process, and close opportunities with contract license agreements; all while maintaining focus on client retention.
Qualified candidates have a successful track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals through a demonstrated, structured sales reporting process via CRM.
The ideal candidate is self-directed, inquisitive, comfortable making outbound calls on new business, confident building relationships with centers of influence, a savvy networker and a good host; someone who enjoys hospitality and employs a concierge style of client service.
The Sales Development Representative will work collaboratively across departments to meet sales and revenue goals; a bridge builder, in essence, leveraging organizational objectives between marketing, finance, and operations.
Education Baccalaureate degree; business administration, hospitality, marketing or related field of study.

Track-record of success identifying prospects, generating leads and converting them to meet sales goals.
Experience Five years in a commercial sales development and/or property leasing role, with a minimum of two years in hotel, conference and event sales.
Experience in a lead-generating sales role is a must.
Development of new markets/products/events through market research is preferable.
Knowledge of current trends in the commercial property market, in RTP and the southeast, is a plus.
Experience managing prospects using Cvent, CRM, Salesforce, or similar software is highly desirable.
Specific Responsibilities Develop strategies for inbound and outbound sales and marketing, with a focus on lead generation and pipeline development for The AIME Center.
Conduct market analysis identifying and outlining opportunities for short-term sales activities and long-term development strategy.
Qualify leads generated via digital marketing campaigns.
Develop strong relationships with key lead-generating sources.
Deliver monthly sales forecast, prospect update and client activity report for The AIME Center.
Input leads, track sales activities and manage prospect database (CRM) with monthly sales-to-budget reporting and quarterly analysis.
Find creative approaches to both attract and retain business.
Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed leasing goals through various modalities.
Represent The AIME Center at special events.
Participate in tradeshows/conferences, as needed.
Serve as the voice of The AIME Center with clear, effective communication (written and oral) that keeps internal and external audiences engaged, informed and called to action around successful outcomes.
Collaborate with meeting planning team in the delivery of service to AIME center clients.
Manage multiple activities with strong organizational skills.
Special Requirements Occasional Saturday/Sunday workdays.
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds maximum unassisted.
Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
