Account Executive

Altra Industrial Motion Corp.

This is a Contract position in Boise, ID posted November 23, 2021.

Kollmorgen is looking for an enthusiastic go-getter for an entry level role on our North American Business Development team.

As an Account Executive, you qualify inbound leads from our omni-channel digital customer engagement program, as well as conduct research on the strategic markets Kollmorgen serves, helping to identify target accounts that match our ideal customer profile and align with Kollmorgen’s strategic objectives.

You will use a combination of phone, email, web, and social platforms to identify and contact targeted prospects, both on your own and with cross-functional support, partnering with our Application and Field Sales Engineers.

The successful incumbent will be a fearless communicator, comfortable with cold-calling, and tenacious in their prospecting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.

Execute Lead Qualification and Lead Generation campaigns Engage and evaluate leads from all marketing activities, including Kollmorgen online properties, digital advertising, tradeshows and events, applying effective conversation techniques to maximize the conversion of leads to Sales-ready opportunities.

Execute lead generating campaigns as part of Vertical Market Penetration efforts, new product launch support, and other commercial activities Identify new target accounts and contacts that align with Kollmorgen’s target industries Utilize sales prospecting tools including Salesforce, Ringlead, Zoominfo and LinkedIn Successfully navigate to the correct individual within a site/company that is responsible for motion control, and convey a resounding customer value proposition Leverage phone, email, and social outreach to contact prospective customers Identify target customer needs and develop the appropriate Kollmorgen value proposition to satisfy customer needs Generate sales ready leads at or above target Work closely with our outsides sales team to move prospective customers through the sales process Partner closely with Global Marcomm team in testing and optimizing new tools and approaches to more effectively capture and manage leads, including but not limited to online chat, automated lead scoring, etc.

Actively participate in team activities to evaluate and optimize marketing activities, from lead generation through qualification and conversion to revenue Assist Sales and Marcom in augmenting and maintaining customer database Ensure accurate data entry for all prospect/customer contact information to support future sales and marketing efforts Identify new contacts at existing accounts Update existing customer records to ensure database is accurate and complete Support strategic account development by identifying decision makers at target accounts Assist with Sales and Marketing reporting Build reports using Salesforce and Excel Update existing reports Critical Competencies Ambitious and self-motivated individual who is goal oriented Quick learner with the business aptitude and acumen to apply to daily work Effective time management and strong planning and organization skills Leverage process and best practices to achieve consistent outcomes Detail-oriented.

Strong verbal and written communication and selling skills Able to politely and thoughtfully navigate to key decision makers and influencers of motion control purchases based on your discretion to create a new opportunity Quick on his/her feet
– able to ask thoughtful questions, able to respond to objections and identify ways for Kollmorgen to gain access to site/contact Able to go “off script” as necessary based upon direction of phone conversation yet remains focused on qualifying individual “Professionally social”
– enjoys speaking on the phone with prospects and customers; demonstrates natural yet professional phone approach; able to build rapport during phone conversation Proven critical thinking skills and problem-solving methodologies Able to understand complex technical concepts and develop advanced knowledge in motion control to adequately advise customers on selecting the best Kollmorgen solutions to solve their motion problems Will be a self-starter, tenacious and proven team player capable of prioritizing his or her own work and/or problems simultaneously.

Unfazed by phone rejections and hang-ups Must be comfortable working in a high-energy, quickly changing and demanding environment Education and Experience Requirements Associates Degree in a technical, marketing or business discipline is required or, a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred Technical aptitude, technical background or related motion control experience Sales and marketing experience, B2B phone sales preferred Experience using marketing automation, CRM, and other sales prospecting tools Microsoft Office application proficiency EEO Statement: The company in which you have expressed employment interest is a subsidiary or affiliate of Altra Industrial Motion Corp.
