Reporting to the Director of Home Health, the RN Home Health Nurse Manager will plan, organize, direct, evaluate and coordinate the Home Health programs.

They will direct the day-to-day operations.

Using a team-based approach, the RN Home Health Nurse Manager will oversee both clinical and administrative activities for the department.

This person will actively manage the staffing and labor needs of the department, effectively utilizing all available staff resources to manifest a spirit of cooperation, allowing for patients to receive the best care possible.

The RN Home Health Nurse Manager will take a progressive stance on educating and mentoring the professionals in this crucial department.

The Manager collaborates with physicians, Directors, and other health care providers identifying and implementing innovative models and best practices, emphasizing service improvements and cost reduction.

They will direct development and implementation of quality and utilization standards across the continuum of care to ensure coordinated plans of treatment, customer focused delivery of services and cost effective utilization of necessary services.

The RN Home Health Nurse Manager ensures compliance with administrative, legal and regulatory requirements of the hospital contract and governmental and accrediting agencies.

It will be paramount that the Manager develops a service line that achieves a high level of customer satisfaction with emphasis on customer service and highest standards of quality and innovation.
