We want you to Join the Nation!The Retail Origination Specialist is a main onboarding contact for all new branches and accepts leads from branches for mortgages in states where the branch is not licensed.

Frequent travel to perform training and onboarding activities is required.Qualifications and Education Requirements:Review and answeremployee and clientquestions and topics.Travel to all on-boarding branches to train LO’s on all Encompass functions for LO duties.Trouble shoot new branch on-boarding issues.Originate loans for the new branches during their on-boarding licensing transition period.Assist the branches with training their new LO’s.Speak with applicants to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process.Analyze applicants’ financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans.Explain to customers the different types of loans and credit options that are available, as well as the terms of those services.Obtain and compile copies of loan applicants’ credit histories, corporate financial statements and other financial information.Review and update credit and loan files.Review loan documents to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to policy.Stay abreast of new types of loans and other financial services and products in order to better meet customers’ needs.Handle customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve issues.Confer with underwriters to aid in correcting mortgage application problems.Skills:5+ years RECENT mortgage industry experience.Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related fieldpreferredbut not required.20 hours ofannualtraining for SAFE Act.Must have passed the national NMLS examin multiple states.At least2years’loan origination experience.LOS Encompass experience is required.Ability to travel frequently overnight requiredNations Lending expressly prohibits any form of discrimination or unlawful harassment based on race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, veteran status, sex (including marital status, family status, pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression).
