Our employees commitment to the company and its Pride in Service motto helps Interstate Companies deliver exceptional customer service every day.Growth is a critical component of our business plan, and we are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate that is willing to help us in that growth.Warehouse Job Duties* Must be able to operate forklifts from small to large* Load and unload trucks picking up and delivering supplies and equipment* Knowledge of shipping and receiving inventory control processes a plus* Prepare parts for shipping or delivery to customers* Assist with pulling items from stock for both technicians and outside customers* Gather and empty trash in warehouse and shop* Sweep and clean warehouse and shop daily/weekly* Clean machines and equipment in warehouse and shop areasDesired Skills and Qualities* Solid written and verbal communication skills* Previous computer experience, preferably using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.* Teamwork Orientation/willingness to do whats needed* Uphold standard 40-hour work week schedule* Clean driving record and insurable a plus* Maintain and keep company vehicles in good running order, monitor required services* Drive to local vendors and pick up parts and materials when neededRequirements for Position* High school diploma or equivalent* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)* Ability to operate a forklift* Lifting requirement of 50 pounds, occasionally lifting 75 to 100 pounds* Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods* Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, balance, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, finger graspPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
