Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

Hyper Microsystems is seeking friendly, energetic “go getters”, with great attitudes to apply for the Retail Sales Associate position at our store, Bargain Outlet and More.

Bargain Outlet and More is a retail store where people can buy quality, brand-name merchandise, 30-80% below normal retail prices.

We buy closeout, over stock and customer return products from the nation’s largest retailers and manufacturers, and then inspect, test and process it. The store is stocked every week to provide you with a wide selection of constantly changing assortment, at deep discounts. Bargain Outlet and More is part of Hyper Microsystems.

Duties:

• Assist customers, handle escalations and promote a positive customer experience
• Organize and maintain stock in the front of the store
• Unload and organize stock to be put out on the floor
• Manage stock levels to maximize the stores’ performance
• Sort stock of inventory, assigning condition tags and/or prices to products before they are put out on the floor
• Manage returns/exchanges and troubleshoot products with customers
• Maintain high store standards and conditions and foster a positive environment
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Assist in proper opening and closing of the store
• Additional duties as needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Some retail sales or customer service experience preferred
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred, but not required
• At least 18 years or older
• Sales aptitude and ability to proactively engage customers
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays based on business needs
• Ability to stand on your feet for an entire shift and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
