Nutrition Services Assistant – Retail Operations

Position prepares cafeteria counters for each meal, and morning and afternoon breaks as assigned.

Insure that all areas are stocked with dishes, trays, silverware, napkins, and readily available.

Serve employees and guests in the cafeteria line.

Serve employees and guests in the cafeteria line and greet patrons cheerfully and respectfully.

After each meal clean tables, chairs and condiment station.

Prevent run-outs of food by informing cooks ahead of time of need and maintain proper temperature for hot and cold food.

Maintain cafeteria counter in a clean, neat and orderly manner and operate cash register according to standard procedures.

Handles responsibility for security of cash register.
