Merchandiser – $17.50 Per Hour + INCENTIVES

As a Columbia Distributing Merchandiser, you will stock, rotate and merchandise our products so they are ready to sell.

You will work with our sales team to provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts.INCENTIVE PAY
– for every hour worked and cases merchandised, make more money!Local Routes available in the Burien, West Seattle, and surrounding Areas!Full time, Part time, and Seasonal openings availableCareer/Skill Development Opportunities including tuition reimbursementMedical/Dental/Vision plans (multiple to choose from to fit your needs!)401k retirement with matching programFloat HolidayStrong Company Culture and Recognition programsEmployment contingent on verification of qualifications, passing a background check and a NON-THC drug screen.What You’ll Accomplish Day to Day:Drive within assigned route to work product from store back stock or delivery loads; handling cases, bottles and cans of beer, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages for the purpose of sale or storageProvide excellent customer service to assigned accountsDevelop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers and others you come into contact with throughout your jobFill cold boxes and shelves with appropriate merchandise, and rotate product on an ongoing basisMaintain the back stock area to allow for a safe and efficient work environmentOrganize back stock to ensure accurate order writing for salesBuild displays in stores and maintain POS (point of sale) as necessaryInteract in direct communication with store personnel and sales peopleAccurately clock in and out, adhering to state labor lawsWork with merchandising and sales team members on a continual basis to train, support and evaluate needsYou’re Ready to Join Our Team if You Have:General knowledge of industry productsAbility to work independently while managing multiple tasks and meet deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsEffective organizational and time management skillsAbility to develop strong relationships with internal and external customersWork EnvironmentThis job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.Physical DemandsLift/carry 35 lbs.
