Position Description: E-Commerce Associate (Growth Champion) Wage: Salary, plus bonus opportunity, Salary based on experience About Us: Local 130 Seafood, founded in 2014, with a warehouse in Long branch, a retail location in Asbury Park New Jersey, and a growing e-commerce presence is a seafood company committed to sourcing and promoting American seafood to its customers across the State of NJ, and the USA.

Local 130 is a full-service distribution, wholesale and retail business, which has forged partnerships with American docks across the USA to deliver the best and freshest American caught seafood.

Position Role: Currently, Local 130 operates a distribution and processing house and a retail storefront in Asbury Park NJ.

The role of E-Commerce Associate as follows: Manage all components of the e-commerce program including marketing, fulfillment, packaging and program development, customer quality assurance etc.

Achieve quarterly existing e-commerce quarterly sales goals.

Achieve new territory customer acquisition quarterly goals.

In conjunction with owners build new marketing and customer acquisition campaigns.

Actively manage E-commerce inventory and website.

Represent 130 Seafood brand, mission and its product on a consistently positive and energetic basis to all of its customers.

Drive and maintain daily social media presence related to online commerce in conjunction with ownership.

Understand key attributes of all products being sold including; origin, catch method, seasonality, sustainability, taste, etc.

Effectively liaise with purchasing daily to communicate inventory needs and customers preferences.

Support general business operations as needed.

Position Requirements: Minimum of 4 years’ experience within the food system – preferably within seafood or protein category.

Minimum of 2 years E-commerce experience.

Can do attitude and willingness to be part of a team.

Dynamic digital Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Shopify, Wix and Squarespace.

Entrepreneurial spirit.

Social media experience – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter Willingness to learn about and become well versed in all aspects of seafood.

Legally able to work in the USA.

Strict adherence to Local 130 Drug Free work policy.
