The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Trainee is responsible for delivering and rotating stock.
Also responsible for merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards.What your day will look like:Transports and unloads products to retail outletsResponsible for merchandising all product inside the outlet to Company standardsWorks in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success.
Establish positive relationships with all customers, as well as providing superior customer serviceProvides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they ariseAbility to work with all functional team membersSets up merchandise and sales promotion displaysCommunicates any store level issue to managementComplies with DOT rules for driving purposesMaintains rapport with customersCollection of any breakage or out of date product, including empty shells and palletsAccurate accounting for all cases and customer transactionsEnsure proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement dailyDeliver, rotate, and merchandise product on shelf, displays and all cold equipmentMaintains backstock in an organized mannerKeeps coolers, racks, and shelves cleanAssist with training, coaching, succession planning of any delivery merchandiser traineesBuild strong relationships with customer base across assigned customersWhat you need to succeed:Minimum of 21 years oldAbility to obtain Class A Commercial Driver’s License within 90 days and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policyThe ability to maintain DOT physical requirementsPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policiesRegular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the jobAbility to read, write and speak EnglishAbility to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelinesAbility to maintain safety and security of Company assetsAbility to utilize all Company provided resources and technologyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.
