Building Products Merchandisers are responsible for maintaining the stock level, merchandising, cleanliness and overall appearance of OrePac’s specified product lines in The Home Depot stores.
This position also requires some travel, computer knowledge and relationships with key associates and leaders within the Home Depot stores and OrePac’s staff.
Timeliness of task completion, project initiatives, and store level execution are key to success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is a Full-Time position.
Normal working hours are Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Hours may need to be extended or adjusted at any time, with or without notice, to meet the needs of the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Create an environment of open communication and connection between The Home Depot and the local OrePac branch Execute corporate and localized team goals and initiatives Quickly identify the root cause of issues in the field and respond with a prompt solution Build relationships with and take ownership of assigned stores within territory
STORE APPEARANCE
Evaluate merchandising compliance, and order items to maintain merchandising Clean the aisles, including cull cart, signage, and productions Authenticate set integrity to plan-o-gram specifications Verify correct product facings and positioning (adequately and correctly false backed) Work closely with third party service providers (MET, Signature Retail Services, and CrossMark) Replace merchandising to ensure a high level of visual appearance of programs and to support an easy shopping experience for customers
INVENTORY
Monitor on hand levels against weeks-of-supply targets (Per WOS targets and visual standards) Confirm quality of product and packaging as material is shipped to stores Seek opportunities to improve inventory turnover Utilize use of JLQ card to guide ordering process
SALES
Identify and report new product opportunities Develop relationships with SMs, ASMs, DHs, and associates Partner with OrePac’s general line sales team to support growth initiatives Drive category sales growth and profitability
SAFETY
Comply with The Home Depot and OrePac’s safety standards Perform store safety audits during each store service Document and communicate safety concerns and injuries that take place during store service
PROJECTS
Perform project related tasks as instructed Complete all special projects by specified deadlines Identify program improvement projects to work on at stores
MOBILE PHONE TASK & PROJECT TRACKING
Learn the complete functionality of mobile phone store service applications Use required mobile application pre and post service visit forms on each store service Complete project tracker in mobile application

Experience and education:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, six months warehousing experience (preferred) or any combination of education, training or experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/loud The employee frequently works in high, precarious places The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions Must be able to travel at least 80% of the time.
OrePac will supply company shirts that are required to be worn when employees service the stores.
Employee is expected to wear pants or shorts with no holes or patches.
Opened toed footwear is not acceptable for this position.
